Make Us Stronger in 2012
Maryland's legislative session begins January 11, and we're gearing up to defend reproductive freedom in Annapolis. Check back regularly for updates on what bills are being filed and by whom, but in the meantime, help us prepare for the legislative showdown.
NARAL Pro-Choice Maryland is the political leader of the pro-choice movement in Maryland. Last year we took 15 trips to Annapolis during the three-month legislative session to prevent 11 anti-choice bills from getting passed; we couldn't have done it without your support.
Here's how your donation helps:
- $10 pays for a day's parking in Annapolis, getting us on the front line.
- $25 pays for the gas to get there.
- $40 pays for one advocate training day to get more voices sharing our pro-choice values with our legislators.
- $100 pays for the registration of one lobbyist, crucial for us to be able to spread our message—your message—with our legislators.
